The £124,900 Nissan GT-R SpecV for the UK
It’s almost a year since Nissan announced the GT-R SpecV for the Japanese market – and ten months since it went on sale – but they’ve just announced a limited run of Nissan GT-R SpecV for the UK and European markets. Just 40 will be produced at a slightly pricey £124,900 – more than twice the price of the Standard Nissan GT-R. If you use anything else as a benchmark for value for performance the GT-R SpecV stacks up.
BMW MegaCity - Range Extender option
A year ago, when BMW revealed the BMW Concept ActiveE 1-Series in Detroit we had a big old press release. And inside that press release was the small gem that the MegaCity part of BMW’s project-i would include drivetrains other than electric. We’re not sure BMW ever said that its MegaCity cars would be all electric, although we’re probably not alone in having assumed that.

Ahead of a debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March, we have the first official photo of the 2012 Kia cee’d, which goes on sale in June. This may be the week of the Detroit Auto Show, but it’s not stopping car makers giving us a taste of what’s in store at Geneva in the Spring.
